Two boys and a little lady

I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoy these clients. The sweetest, most down to earth bunch... and now a family of five!

I had a great time with you this morning. You guys make beautiful babies :)

Blessed...

The title of this post sums up my mood and spirit. How can you not feel blessed when you are surrounded by the constant reminder of life's renewal. It fills your heart with a joy for life and a great need to squeeze out all the precious moments you can from it.

Yesterday we were waiting for clients at their home and while we waited we discovered their trampoline! We spent some time jumping and laughing until we couldn't even stand up. I know I will cherish that memory for years to come because it was so real and unplanned.

A sweet baby boy, a sweet mom, and a loving grandmother allowed us in today to create these images.

"I'm married"?!...

That is what the bride said to me while we were starting the post wedding photos. A stunning bride... but mostly a beautiful mother. This wedding was a tender reminder of what a wedding commitment really means. I shed a few tears watching them, watch their little daughter play by their feet while they exchanged vows.

What is it about hats?

I adore hats! I adore them, but personally I own very few. My hats are all practical hats. The kind of hats you wear in the rain and snow. So, when I have a chance to photograph a little one in her hats... how could I not be in my glory!

Sleeping Beauty

Sessions like this one send me home with the desire for another baby. She slept and stretched her beautiful long limbs the whole time.

A breath of fresh air....

and a head full of hair. Quite possibly the most delightful little baby I have had the pleasure to know. With the added bonus of this terrific hair and excellent sense of style. Sometimes I feel quilty for the joy my career brings me. Aren't we supposed to hate our job?

Some families touch your heart and you are changed because of it. This session was with one of those families for me. I felt very at home in their home and I felt accepted like an old friend. Thank you, I know that I am a little better a person having met you. D was a blast of fun (and I imagine the three of you sleep very well at night :)

A new begining

In the sheltered simplicity of the first few days after a bay is born, one sees again the magical closed circle, the miraculous sense of two people existing only for each other. –Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Kim and Jean Francois , thank you for allowing me to share in that magical place with you.
